Greece and Croatia won their quarterfinal games in Olympic qualifying tournament yesterday in Athens. Today CSKA players Nikos Zisis and Zoran Planinic will play against Puerto Rico and Germany respectively.
Yesterday their teams did not meet serious resistance. Croats easily beat Canadians - 83:62. Planinic scored 6 points (2-pointers - 1/1, 3-pointers - 1/2, FT - 1/4), 3 assists, 1 foul and 1 loss in 15 minutes. Greeks defeated New Zealanders - 75:48. Zisis spent 22 minutes on the court, scored 7 points (2-pointers - 3/6, 3-pointers - 0/3, FT - 1/1), made 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 foul and 1 turnover.
