Our team’s center, Livio Jean-Charles, has been named the Most Valuable Player for the first month of the VTB United League regular season…
Including the opening-round game on September 27, the Red-Blues secured seven consecutive victories to start the tournament. During this stretch, the French player led CSKA in efficiency rating (23.1), averaging 15.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 0.9 blocks per game. Livio reached double-digit scoring in every contest, and in an away game against Dynamo Vladivostok, he recorded a double-double (18 points, 10 rebounds).
"It is an honor for me to receive this award," said Livio Jean-Charles. "I want to thank all my teammates and the staff — this is all because of them."
