Kirill Yelatontsev joined CSKA!

Elatontsev is a native of Krasnoyarsk and a graduate of Lokomotiv-Kuban, whose youth system he joined at the age of 14. Since then, the basketball player has gone through all the steps of the Krasnodar team’s pyramid, became the champion and vice-champion of the VTB United Youth League, and was recognized as MVP of the regular season and playoffs of the tournament.

Kirill made his debut for the main team of Loko at the age of 18, and since 2022 he has become a full-fledged player of the main team. In 2023, he helped Krasnodar reach the final for the first time, then twice received the prize for the Best Young Player of the VTB League, and in 2025 participated in the All-Star Game.

Last season, Elatontsev played for the University of Oklahoma in the NCAA. He averaged 4.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.3 blocks in 13.7 minutes in 23 games.

This summer, Kirill made his debut in the Russian National Team, taking part in friendly games against Turkey and Hungary.
