Basketball is not the main thing in All-Star Games. Rather, it is a reason to gather all the best and most important, allow them to meet, chat, laugh and enjoy a great show. The organizers once again tried their best, putting on a show at the level of the best world standards. Or, as they like to say now: "The best in the world... and not just in the world - in Russia!"

It was the national flavor that became the main visual and musical component of the sporting event. The uniforms and the decorations were in the style of Russian folk tales, as well as the division of the teams into "hosts" and "dear guests", and the performance of the top Russian performers - The Hatters and Tatyana Kurtukova with her hit-parade-breaking "Matushka".

In the game, the teams did not try to act too seriously, despite the solid prize of five million rubles. Perhaps, one could have expected a fight if the “Hosts” had not played a “killer” third quarter, in which they pulled away by 20. The details of what happened could be forgotten, if not for the performance of Nikita Kurbanov. The most experienced basketball player on both teams became the best in points scored (20) and rebounds (7) among the winners, deservedly receiving the MVP award – the first such in a long and glorious career.
