To the tour to the end of the final round of the junior basketball league CSKA junior team became the champion. Today they defeat the real pretender to the champion’s title – Avtodor Saratov.
To the tour to the end of the final round of the junior basketball league CSKA junior team became the champion. Today they defeat the real pretender to the champion’s title – Avtodor Saratov.
CSKA vs Avtodor: 72-61
The course of the game was not easy for hosts: opponent attacked good from the distance and used zone defense. CSKA went to the big rest losing 2 points: 31-33. Everything changed in the third quarter. In the beginning Saratov team could get big advantage. After far throw of the best sniper of the game – guard Dramir Zibirov Igor Korolev team put score on 31-38. Time-out of Eugeny Pashutin and substitution George Tsintsadze to Vasily Zavoruev gave results but not right now. After some time Vasily and Eugeny Kolesnikov begun 13-0 spurt: 47-39. In the fourth quarter Avtodor could minimize this advantage: 57-53. Valery Likhodey and return to the parquet of Eugeny Kolesnikov saved their team. CSKA won fourth game and became champion of the Junior Basketball League.
Tomorrow Eugeny Pashutin team in the last game of tournament will play against Ural-Great Perm who is pretending for the fourth place.
