Our club and forward Dejan Davidovac activated the contract option, which will allow the player to continue playing in another team...

Thank you, Dejan!

Davidovac joined CSKA last summer, and it was the first time in his career when he decided to play abroad. He has established himself as one of the main protagonists in the red-and-blue squad, having played the most games in general (47, along with Nikita Kurbanov, Ivan Ukhov and Dallas Moore) and in the starting five in particular (40). His averages were 7.1 points (65% 2-pointers, 45.5% 3-pointers, 87.5% free throws), 3.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.3 blocks.

Andrey Vatutin, PBC CSKA President:

Moscow was the first foreign city for Dejan where he spent a full season, and I am sure that he will take away many warm memories from here. We will also remember with gratitude his performances for CSKA. As they say, the last one is best remembered, and in this sense Dejan did his best: the last minute of the final game of the last season was especially successful for him. Davidovac is a EuroLeague level player, and we sincerely wish him to prove himself at this level in the future.

Emil Rajkovic, CSKA head coach:

Dejan proved to be a real professional, a guy with great character and a very important part of our system last season. I want to thank him for his performances and loyalty to our club throughout the season. I sincerely wish him good luck in the next challenge of his career.

Dejan Davidovac:

It was my first time in a team from foreign country, and at first it was difficult. But everyone around helped me, I want to thank each and everyone at CSKA and the fans for their support. It also helped that the Russian and Serbian people are very close in every sense. Maybe the final result was not what we all wanted, but we created good connections and relationships. The year turned out to be amazing, it came as a surprise to me. I want to wish everyone in CSKA good luck!
