The first newcomer of our team this off-season was defender/forward Nikita Mikhailovsky (22 years old, 203 cm)…

Nikita Mikhailovskiy became a player of CSKA

The player signed the "1+1" contract with the possibility of a loan to another club based on the results of pre-season training camp.

A native of Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, is a graduate of Avtodor Saratov, where he played almost his entire professional career (with a short trip to the Australian club Tasmania JackJumpers in the 21-22 season). Mikhailovskiy's first individual award was the 2018 Junior Junior League Championship MVP. Later, Nikita was twice recognized as the Best Young Player of the VTB United League (2019, 2021) and took part in the league's All-Star Games twice.

Mikhailovskiy defended the colors of the junior Russian teams in two top tournaments. In 2018, at the U18 European Championship, he was elected to the All-Tournament Team with averages of 16.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists, as the Russian team took fourth place. In 2019, he became one of the leaders of the Russians at the U19 World Championship, where he averaged 10.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists. At the same time, Nikita became the second player in the history of the tournament after Dario Saric, who managed to record a triple-double - 20 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists against Greece.

Last season, as part of Avtodor, Mikhailovsky took part in 29 games of the VTB United League, averaging 6.3 points (50% two-pointers, 40.6% three-pointers, 90.2% free throws), 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 18.6 minutes on the court.

Emil Rajkovic, CSKA head coach:

Nikita is a young talented player who needs to work hard and show everyone that he is not just a talent, that he is ready to produce as part of a serious system. I hope he will be humble, hungry and ready to show it all from day one of the training camp to earn the CSKA jersey. We will believe in him and will do everything in our power to help Nikita achieve our common goals.

Nikita Mikhailovskiy, CSKA guard/forward:

It will be a great honor for me to play for a club like CSKA, it will be a new challenge and experience in my career. I am glad to be a part of the army club, to study and work with professionals. Together we will try to please the fans with victories and a spectacular game. CSKA will always be the first!
