Eugeny Pashutin – assistant coach of PBC CSKA

The management of the club decided to appoint the coach of Russian National Team and the coach of the junior team in 2003/04 season Eugeny Pashutin as an assistant coach of PBC CSKA. Pavel Googe who was acting an assistant coach of Dusan Ivkovic last season will work in the coaching staff of CSK VVS Samara.

The comment of Dusan Ivkovic:

- Our collaboration with Eugeny Pashutin was great when he was a captain of the team. He was a great player, great personality. I understand his ambitions to be a coach very good. I knew immediately that he is going be a great coach. He has everything for it. He was point guards with a big authority. He understands the game very good. At the moment when he decided to stop to play we offered him very original job – to be a head coach of our junior team. In his first year he won Russian championship in the junior league and won Euroleague tournament in Tel-Aviv. He made great job. Now this season we offered him to be my assistant in the main team. I think that there is a very big future in front of him. I think that he is ready one day continue my job in CSKA.
