When two clubs stay within one step in the standings every game between them has huge importance. Our team and Spartak shared home victories this BEKO PBL season. The third leg game will take place on Yubileiny Palace court in St. Petersburg.
12 army men went on board of usual Transaero flight. The roster misses Trajan Langdon who went to the US for the examination of the pains in his left hip joint area and Artem Zabelin who will play for the junior team this weekend.
“We will have a difficult away game because the opponents have a mental advantage after their confident win in previous game here,” – CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “But we are gaining the shape and improving day-by-day. We made some defensive mistakes in previous game and we spent this week trying to get rid of them. Hopefully, we will show our best game and we will try to succeed.”
