The representatives of our club has got four prizes during the traditional 'Golden Basket' ceremony held by RBF in the hall of Trinta sports school to award the best people in Russian basketball.
Alexey Shved was voted as a best young player, Trajan Langdon as a best foreign player in SuperLeague, Ettore Messina as a best coach of Superleague team. Also PBC CSKA was awarded for the best management.
In fact CSKA lost only the vote for the best Russian player where Utah Jazz and Russian National Team forward Andrey Kirilenko received more votes than J R Holden.
CSKA CEO Andrey Vatutin visited the scene three times - Shved and Langdon were late after practice and waiting in Moscow traffic. After receiving the award for the best management Vatutin thanked CSKA staff, noting that the trophy is actually the praise for the work of all the club's managers who were represented by CSKA Executive Director Yuri Yurkov and Sports Director Natalia Furaeva.
