It is not determined yet if Ural Great or Spartak from St.Petersburg would become the first CSKA rival in the play offs. It would be decided in a game Ural Great – EURAS that would be held in Yekaterinburg this Wednesday. In case of Ural Great victory the club from Perm would meet CSKA on the earliest play off stage ever.

The head coach of CSKA Dusan Ivkovic:

I want to congratulate my team with the first place after the end of the regular season. Today game was not on expect level, we lose first and third quarters. I think that the reason in that after the qualification to Euroleague Final Four our concentration was little down. Now we have to play play-off of Russian championship and two Final Four: of Russian Cup and of Euroleague.

Tomorrow Theodoros Papaloukas who broken his nose will start practices in the commong group without contact. We rodered 5 special masks for him and waiting for them now.

The head coach of EURAS Andrey Podkovyrov:

Today we played against strongest team in Europe. It is the best practice and experience for my players to fight against European stars. I think that we played good but made many tactic mistakes. Sometimes our players did what they want in fronf of that coaching staff says. But in common I am satisfied that our guys did not give up until the final buzzer.
