Our team's preseason will be quite short, but very intense...
The current VTB League champions will be coming out of vacation later than usual. The gym in Krylatskoye has been open for individual work since August 11, but the team will only gather in full roster on the 28th. Then there will be the traditional medical examination at the GMS Clinic, physical tests and numerous filming sessions on August 30 as part of the Media Day. In fact, the team will hold a basketball training session together for the first time on August 31.
The first week of September will be dedicated to intense practices, and in the second week the team will have friendly games against the neighbors from Moscow and the Moscow region. Then CSKA will go to an international tournament in the UAE, return home - and again fly abroad, to the VTB United League SuperCup.
It should be noted that this year all friendly games, including the Dubai tour, will be held without spectators and television broadcasts. The red-blues will play their first official game of the VTB League regular season on September 30.
