Testing by champions

The pre-season for the Red-Blues has actually begun. It is clear that the vast majority of the players already trained individually during the vacations, but starting from August 1 they got the opportunity to practice at the team's facilities in Krylatskoye. There, all basketball players returning to Moscow are gradually start working with physical conditioning coach Pavel Gerasimov.

Officially, the day of arrival in the capital is August 17: starting from this moment, the players will undergo medical examinations, and on August 19, for the first time, they will gather together in Krylatskoye for physical tests. After that, there will begin daily practices. The first friendly game will take place on August 30. From September 4 to September 12, the Red-Blues will work in Belek, Turkey, where they will play three friendly games with local clubs, including the reigning EuroLeague champion Efes (however, without EuroBasket participants on both squads). On September 17-18, the team will go to the traditional friendly tournament.

And on September 23, the season will actually begin, because the VTB United League SuperCup will become an official tournament this year.
