Filipp Gafurov: contract and loan

With some interruptions, Gafurov has been working in the red-blue system since 2017. Last summer, he made his debut for the Russian national team in friendly games before the Olympic qualification, and this season he played four games for CSKA in the VTB United League (3.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.5 assists). Also in the 2021-22 season, the forward played 31 games for CSKA-2, in which he scored 9.9 points (51.6% of two-pointers, 41.6% of three-pointers).

Filipp is one of the most promising players of his generation, who now needs to play on a high level. He proved himself while working with the first team both in practices and official games, he played well for the Superleague-1 team and, with due diligence, we see him as a CSKA player in the near future. I wish Filipp to gain the necessary experience and knowledge under the guidance of Sergey Bazarevich, to get used quickly to the VTB League and take the next step in his career.

I am happy that I had the opportunity to continue to represent the great club CSKA. This is a new page in my sports career and a big step forward.
