Evgeniy Kolesnikov returns to CSKA
Kolesnikov is an alumnus of the youth school and the youth project of CSKA, he played for CSKA junior teams from 2002 to 2004. For the next two seasons, Evgeniy played for the CSK VVS Samara and Ural Great on loan, after which he continued playing on his own. The player's file includes Spartak-Primorye, VEF Riga, Spartak St. Petersburg, Krasnye Krylia, UNICS, Enisey, Obradoiro.
The newcomer of Muscovites is a two-time VTB United League All-Star (2017, 2022), a two-time FIBA Challenge Cup winner, and a multiple-time VTB League silver and bronze medals winner. Also in the list of Evgeny's achievements is the gold of the 2005 European U20 Championship and participation in the 2010 World Cup as part of the National Team.
This season, as part of Avtodor, Kolesnikov took part in 12 games of the VTB League (6.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 62.5% two-pointers, 45.5% three-pointers) and 11 games of the FIBA-Europe Cup (7.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 56% two-pointers, 40% three-pointers).

He is specializing in shooting from the perimeter, guarding the scorers, running the floor and he has plenty of experience of playing on highest level.
