CSKA lose the first game of Rino Snaidero Memorial tournament in Italy. They lost to local Fortitudo 77-78. On September, 17 the army team will play against Benetton.

The first quarter finished with the small advantage CSKA, but to the big rest Italian team could catch the opponent. The third quarter was over with the minimal advantage of Fortitudo. Unfortunately they could keep this advantage to the final buzzer. Marcus Brown had a chance to catch the win but his throw in 3 seconds to the end did not catch the basket.

The playmaker of CSKA Theodoros Papaloukas did not participate this game. He was injured in the game against Partizan. The medical examination has shown that Greek player has broken his nose. He would not participate in all games of Italian tournament.
