CSKA U19 — Conti, 12 November 2003

Moscow Army team took good start in the Junior Basketball League. In the first game they defeated Konti Saint-Petersburg:

Eugeny Pashutin team became a leader from the first minutes of the game. In the middle of the first quarter the score was 12-4 already. Our opponents tried to change situation with the far throws, but they couldn’t. In the first quarter they could score only 6 points this way. To the big rest the game became calmer. Nikita Kirillov from Konti was very good at this moment. He scored 15 points in the first half of the game. Later he became a best sniper of this game (22 points).

In the third quarter Konti could change the course of the game. After good far throw of Anton Ponkrashov the score moved to 56-52 to CSKA. But in the last 10 minutes CSKA looked like very concentrating and they defeated their opponents.

Tomorrow our team will play against Dynamo Moscow Region. Today this team defeated Arsenal Tula 72-56.
