CSKA qualified to the Final Four by beating MAccabi in the 3rd game of the quarterfinal series. The key for the game was the first half. CSKA got the advantage by 20+ points and did not let the rival to cut down the difference.

- I am happy with the win. But it was not easy to get it. I used to tell that it is harder to get to the Final Four than to play there. A lot of the teams would like to go to Athens but did not reacht he tournament. And Maccabi is one of them. They are talented team and they were prepared for the series. But we were able to win two home games in the first half and that was the key. My players transformed the pressure they had to the aggressiveness on the court and that is very important.
