Our team played with no Shved and Kurbanov but still had good chances of beating Zenit in the VTB League SuperCup final. But couple of mistakes in the end did not allow to keep the trophy in Moscow...

We were better in many segments and we lead most of the game and played more organized basketball, Zenit had individuall actions in important moments. We had this game in our hands, but that’s the beauty of basketball: it is unpredictable until the last moments. Our guys played well, they left everything on the court. In the end we draw a play to inbound the ball but the referee called 5-second violation and that returned Zenit into the game, then they score a difficult shot against good defense of Jean-Charles, so they were lucky winners this time, congratulations to them.
