Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Congratulations to Milan for the win. Actually, regarding us, again, if we make the mathematics a little bit, we had a very bad start defensively and offensively. Milan was consistent defensively and they were also making plays. They had key players from the bench, Trey Kell and Daniels, but definitely, they had their superiority of the hands of Kyle (Hines) and Chacho (Sergio Rodriguez). Regarding us, as a team, as I said, we have won the final three quarters 47-44. When we realized that we had to play a different game, we were preparing to play the game. We wanted to play that game, meaning physicality, get one-on-one into the contact game, reduce the possibilities of creativity that they had. But, unfortunately, the 23-10 (in the first quarter) hurt us a lot down the stretch in a game that we were chasing. We came three times close to take the lead. We had a possession with -2, with -1, but we did not manage to take the lead. As I said, we have won 47-44 the (final) three quarters, but the big loss was in the opener. So congratulations to them.
