CSKA won a game against Khimki – 87-67. Officially the host of the game was Khimki, but the match was held in USK CSKA. The clubs have to share the home arena as Khimki are waiting for their own Sports Hall to be constracted. The game was not an easy walk for the Army club.

The game was not an easy walk for the Army club. After the half time the rival was ahead – 38-37 and made CSKA to struggle hard in the 3rd quarter. The player who helped CSKA to survive under the pressure was Marcus Brown. The guard also became the top scorer of the team with 21 point. David Andersen added 16 and Antonio Granger – 13. Khimki predictably received an impressive performance from Melvin Booker. He finished the game with 27 points.

CSKA started the game in a domenative way. After 3 minutes of the play the Army club was ahead – 4-14. But zone defence helped the hosts get control on the game. The 3rd quarter became the key for the game. Only with 11-0 run in the very end of the period CSKA managed to receive the leadership back. Since then the Army club never looked back.
