CSKA playing withour three key players continued its winning series and grew it up to 20 games in a row. Today army team defeat Sibirtelekom in the beautiful way and improved to 12-0 in Russian Superleague.

CSKA- Sibirtelekom: 100-73
CSKA played against Sibirtelekom without three key players. Jon Robert Holden and Marcus Brown received several free days to celebrate Christmas. Also coaching staff of CSKA decided to not include to the roster David Andersen who get some infection and missed evening practice.
Losing three important players, CSKA did not show some weakness. The first quarter became the benefit of Alexey Savrasenko who prevailed under both baskets and scored the half of team points in first ten minutes.
Army team lost the rate and concentration in the second quarter and lose it. But after the big rest hosts have shown again who are the best team today. They again improve their advantage. In last ten minutes Dusan Ivkovic put on the parquet all young players. Except Vassily Zavoruev, Nikita Kourbanov, Yaroslav Korolev and Artur Urazmanov entered into the game in a row. They and other Russian players could improve the advantage. On last minutes Sergey Monya scored hundreth points: 100-73.

We started very good in the first quarter but absolutely lost the rate in the second. We lost it by 3 points: 20-23. Today we used the opportunity to put into the game our four young players. David Andersen get some infection, tomorrow he will pass blood examination. He missed evening practice and today game. Marcus Brown and Jon Robert Holden received several free days to celebrate Christmas holidays. Tomorrow we continue our practices to the game against Spartak Saint Petersburg.

Everybody knows the high class of CSKA which is the best and strongest team in Europe now. I am happy that Dusan Ivkovic today gived many playing time to young players. They played excite basketball and tried to show good basketball in defense and offense.
For me as a head coach of the team it was the next to last game. After the trip to Perm I will go to probatation period to USA to San Antonio Spurs.
