Our team’s next guest is the last season’s EuroCup winner Galatasaray. The Army Men confidently won in the first game of the season in Istanbul, so the Turkish side looks to respond in Moscow.

“Galatasaray’s situation is another proof of how tough this season is,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “They won the last two games, they beat Real Madrid at home and Trabzonspor in an away game of teh Turkish league. They are on track and they have a lot of offensive talent. So we have to approach this game very seriously with proper concentration and motivation. I hope our fans will come and support us.”

Relativity connections

Hines and his Galatasaray counterpart Tibor Pleiss were frontcourt partners in the 2010-11 season with Brose Bamberg. For both of them it was their debut EuroLeague season. They won the German League and Cup double together.
