On Wednesday the second lap of the second stage of JBL quarterfinal tournament starts. CSKA team will take part in the tournament which will be held in Khimki.
“As a part of preparation process we had a 10-day camp in Vatutinki, - CSKA-JBL head coach Leonid Spirin said. 15 players took part in our practices, and we had a friendly game against Triumph-2, where 2 years older young guys play, on Saturday. We played under stress and we weren’t at our best physical shape at the time. So we lost by 18 points, and, what is most painful, we lost Strebkov who injured his ankle. He isn’t practicing for now and it is still uncertain if he will be available to play. Anyway we will decide on the roster after the practice on Tuesday. The most interesting games in my opinion will be the ones against Khimki and Spartak St. Petersburg. Our task is to take first or second position in our group”.
