Yesterday night, at the age of 60, CSKA-2 head coach Predrag Badnjarevic suddenly passed away...
Serbian specialist brought up a whole galaxy of star basketball players, including the famous sniper and NBA champion Predrag Stojakovic, coached teams in Greece, Egypt, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Bahrain, was a mentor to the head coach of the Russian national team Zoran Lukic.
Badnjarevic led CSKA-2 in the 2020/21 season, a year later, under his leadership, our team achieved the best result in its history, taking 6th place in the Superleague regular season. Predrag will be remembered as a true professional, able to reveal the potential of even the most difficult players, a brave and cheerful person.
Predrag had an eldest son, a widow and a 6-year old younger son.
We express our sincere condolences to the family, relatives, friends, numerous students and graduates of the сoach.
