Kobe. Rest in peace

One of the greatest players in backetball history, Kobe Bryant, together with his 13-year old daughter passed away after the helicopter crash. Our club expresses deepest condolences to his family, friends and everyone who loved Kobe.

It is difficult to believe and even more difficult to realise what happenned… For the whole basketball world, for the whole planet it is so painful and shocking, that it is difficult to compare to anything. Great person and player is gone, the man who was highly demanded even after the end of his basketball career. Kobe was a face, symbol, sence, ambassador of basketball, he was everything. He unified peoples and continents. That’s a tragedy that makes you think about life, how short is your life. We all need time to estimate the scale of the loss. I cannot believe. CSKA family feels deep sorrow, we express our condolences to relatives, friends and everyone caring. This is a huge loss for the whole world.

Rest in peace, Kobe. My condolences to the family. Kobe Bryant was more than a basketball player, more than an athlete. He was a great person, he contributed a lot to the sport, he contributed to the whole world. All my thoughts are with his family, with all his fans. I am one of the fans. Kobe Bryant was an idol for me. We are from the same Philadelphia area, I had a chance to watch him playing when I was a kid. He was a father, a role model, he inspired, he was an example. It is a sad day for the whole world.
