Our team welcomes the visitors from Sardinia island. For the first time the fans will be able to see Dinamo Sassari in Moscow.
“For the second week in a row we are facing the team which just changed the head coach, so we can expect to see some new things on the court,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “Still the personnel is the same, so we will face the same individual and team talent, we will see the high-tempo basketball, the team which likes to runs headed by Logan, Haynes, Eyenga, Stipcevic, Alexander, I can mention all other players. The players will try to prove themselves for the new coach. Practically everyone on the team has ability to play one-on-one, to create for themselves and teammates. Besides, Dinamo is an excellent shooting team: they made 17 out of 33 threes in recent Italian league game against Pesaro. That means that the defense will be the key for the victory for us, we have to force turnovers, to cover each other. I like the way the team reacted after our loss to Malaga. We expect this game to be difficult so I hope our fans will come and help us as they usually do here in Moscow.”
Joel Freeland (calf) and Victor Khryapa (wrist) continue their rehab. Anton Astapkovich went to Samara with junior team, Mikhail Kulagin wasn’t able to join his teammate due to illness.
