Alexey Shved: VTB League March MVP!

In March, CSKA played 5 games, beating Avtodor (102-86), Enisey (87-62), Zenit (79-78), Parma (98-71) and Nizhny Novgorod (80 -72). Alexey Shved became the red-blues’ top scorer, averaging 22.6 points (51.3% from the field, 40.5% three-pointers, 87% free throws), 5.6 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.4 steals.

At the end of the month, CSKA is in first place in the standings with 13 wins in 16 matches.

I am grateful to the VTB League for recognition. This award is especially pleasing, because in fact it belongs to all of CSKA, as we won all the games in March and climbed to first place in the standings. The month was interesting, we had to rebuild both the team and the schedule, we managed to have a tight segment with four games in 11 days, and also play after a long break. I think we did a good job, this month many of the guys showed an excellent game, statistics. Although the award went to me, almost everyone in our team deserves it.
