Our team is returning to its usual schedule after the break for the November FIBA window. Tomorrow at Megasport there will be a meeting with Parma...

Rhythm check

Life after the break

"After the break, we will play a team that gave us a real fight before," recalled CSKA head coach Andreas Pistiolis. "It is difficult to say how the break will affect our game rhythm, but, as always, we must give it our all. In this game, we need to start confidently and finish even more confidently."

The period that passed after the previous official meeting turned out to be long. It included several extra days off, but was still filled with basketball. Not only were four representatives of the main team busy with their national teams, the remaining players calmly moved along their own training schedule - with the exception of Ivan Ukhov, who currently works out individually.

Sometimes hot, sometimes cold

Five weeks ago, the opponents met in Perm, and the battle was not easy. Coach Pistiolis even called it strange, because the Muscovites managed to score 95 points against a good defensive-minded team, but at the same time allowed the opponents to score 50 in the second half.

Since then, Evgeny Pashutin's team lost a hard-fought game to UNICS and had two interesting streaks. First, the Perm team charged the fans with optimism by winning three in a row, including an away success over Lokomotiv-Kuban. After which they returned to their native Molot Arena and... lost times in a row.

The team still makes do with the services of only three legionnaires, who carry the main statistical load. Royce Hamm averages 15.1 points and 8.1 rebounds, Garrett Nevels - 14.5 points, 4.1 assists, Alex Hamilton - 11.9 points, 4.9 assists. Alexander Zakharov (10.9 points, 4.3 rebounds) should be added to their company. Samson Ruzhentsev, who was loaned to Parma, is not still playing after a foot injury he sustained in the preseason. Although Sam is close to returning, fans will not see him in Moscow tomorrow.
