Emil Rajkovic, CSKA head coach:

Congratulations to both teams. Samara fought well, and in the third quarter the opponents even reduced the gap to five points. At this point we stepped up on defense and that ultimately led us to victory. It wasn't easy to win though. It was especially difficult in the first half, in which the opponents took nine offensive rebounds. In the second they took only four, which means our corrections led to the result. It’s a positive thing that everyone got a chance to play tonight, some guys took advantage of it, but overall it’s an important moment. This game turned out to be a good preparation for what awaits us ahead.
