PRE-GAME BREAKDOWN

Unfortunately, the number of soldiers under the coaches’ command continues to reduce. Yesterday Mike James was forced to leave the team and travel to his homeland due to the family issues. Fortunately, Ivan Ukhov avoided serious injury after he was hit into his nose in the game against Kalev. The guard practiced normally before the departure. Overall, 10 players including CSKA-2 forward Daniil Kochergin boarded the plane.

WORD TO COACH

Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:

We are going to play a tough game against very competitive team, a team that have different approach and different schedule in comparison to us. They prepare for just one game per week. We have our loading and absences but we are very motivated to go and play better for entire game comparing to our last game against Kalev. We were extremely competitive against Valencia with two overtimes even though we had our issues over there. So we are thrilled to go and play a better game.

Semen Antonov played for Nizhny Novgorod with Ivan Victorov and Ilya Popov from 2014 till 2016.

Mikhail Kulagin played for CSKA for past five seasons.

Alexander Gudumak grew up with CSKA Youth Project. He also played for the main team in 2013-14 season.

Timofey Yakushin was also raised at CSKA. He defended the red-and-blue colors from 2012 till 2015.
